Greetings to all. We are new members to the forum. We have not yet purchased a Pod, but are researching Ultra Lite's and at the moment the R-Pod 179 or 183G are qt the top of our list. We figure the best way to get information on a product is to mingle with the loyal owners and get their opinions.

We are former Winter Texans and spent many a winter in the RGV in our 36 foot motorhome. Now that we have purchased a home here in Harlingen we have decided to downsize. We want an ultra lite because we can tow it with our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. We plan to use it for short (a week or less) trips around Texas and surrounding states.

We are heading over to Corpus Christi tomorrow to Colonia Del Rey RV to check out the R-Pod.

Welcome! And, oddly enough, you now live in my hometown .. Harlingen!  BTW, I tried to work a deal with the dealer in Corpus.  No luck.  They were thousands away from the price we got at Couch's where we ultimately bought our 171.

Good luck with your search, & sing out if we can help.
