Topic: lug wrench Posted: 12 Mar 2015 at 11:26am |
I have a 179 and I found that my lug wrench will not fit into or around the lugs because there is not the clearance needed. I had to get a thin wall socket to remove the lugs from the tire. I just wanted other pod owner to be aware of this before you hit the road. funks

Good tip. I discovered the same thing. I wanted to make sure I had a lug wrench that would fit before taking it on the road. I assumed my old four-way wrench, which I've been using with cars and popup campers for years, would fit, but thankfully, I double-checked before leaving.

I have never tried my 4 way lug wrench on this trailer. I lost a wheel on a trailer once so since then I am paranoid and travel with a torque wrench and socket in the trailer.

Oh wow...thinks I'll be checking those torques a little more often. I have a 2015 178 and a newer 4 way and it works.

Check the torque and tire pressure before every trip. I carry my torque wrench in the camper.
