Topic: Can't Wait To Get Started Posted: 30 Jul 2014 at 11:03pm |
After years of dreaming, we just picked up our 2015 177 and can't wait to hit the road. Was a bit apprehensive about pulling it with our 2013 Pilot after reading some posts but we had power to spare. Big hit to gas mileage but no problem cruising on the highway. The better half is busy planning personalizations and I'm busy reading manuals, tips and planning our first excursion

Thanks for the well wishes! It's nice to be part of such a welcoming community. The first of I'm sure many questions we are going to have is, does the television work on battery power? We can only get it to work when plugged in. Thanks for the help.

The short answer is no and nobody knows why FR chose this model. The longer answer is the TV can be operated on 12V if you use a small plugin inverter. Suitable ones are available from Radio Shack and other suppliers.
