Hi everyone,

I am known as RpodRog from Georgia and am new to this forum but not new to RPODs. We got our RP-177 in 2010 and have pulled it 15,000 miles. We is my wife an now 9 year old. We have traveled with RP=177 from Miami to Niagara Falls and many points in between. If that camper could talk, the great stories it would have.

Our plan is to break in an RP-179 The order is in and delivery date is not known. This is a purchase without actually having seen one. We get the pros and cons many raise. We spend 3-4 weeks per year in ours RPOD and having the additional room inside better fits our priorities. I do like all RPOD models and have been fortunate to meet a couple RPOD owners. What is interesting his all of those owners I met were all content with theirs and use them often which is most important.

That last thing is we adapt the word RPOD as a verb RPODdin. We want to go RPODdin to Disney World this fall.

I look forward checking in this forum.

We have rpoded to Disney World twice with our 171 and loved it! We stayed at Fort Wilderness each trip one for 10 days and one for 14 days. I was great!! Each time we left Disney and headed to Lion Country KOA in West Palm. The campground is right next to the Lion Country Safari and shortly after supper each night you could hear the lions roaring.
Both trips to Disney the pod was the talk of the campground we had a steady stream of people stopping by for a chat and a quick look!!

We looked really hard at the 179, but the combination of weight and the great deal we got on a 177 steered us toward it instead.

The storage in the 179 blows any other current Pod layout out of the water and most other TTs in this length and price range.

RP-177 is a great choice

We had a RP-177 for 5 years and had no problems.
We loved ours. Traveled with 3 of us + a small dog.

Good luck with yours

Yes, initially we wanted a 177 but couldn't find one so we went for the 178 and we're very happy with that as well. Camp Wilderness sounds like a blast!

Welcome to the forum! I like your adaption of the word RPOD as a verb RPODdin.  We are new to RPODdin this year and hope to do lots more RPODin in the Spring.  We had freezing temperatures last night were we live high up in the mountains of North Carolina.  We winterized yesterday ahead of the cold night.
