jayman & splenda:  honestly, i don't think there is a good way to make that bed, it definately is a pain!!!!!  granted sleeping bags are a great choice; but we still like to use sheets/blankets.  no matter what we have done (and usually try to make it from back to forward), the sheets always come out.  sorry i can't give you any good suggestions.  hopefully someone will suggest, i hope!!  hogone

We kept the sleeping bags we used in our popup - no issues with making the bed, etc.  We also have a loose set of sheets we can drap over ourselves at night if it gets too warm for the bags.

The wynoochee lake national park is out there always but paved all the way now, half there park is first come first serve and the other half is reservation sometimes a year in advance. We go mid week while school is still in session. Some sites have paved driveways and water near by.we have lived in tokeland Washington for 37 years and last year was the first time there on the first camping trip with R pod.Highly recommend it. Oh large camp sites too

The real easy answer has been given about the bed.. sleeping bags. We actually carry two sets, one real light, one medium weight, and if needed, the lights will slide inside the mids to make a heavy. But for most of the year it's just the lights. I can't get her to do much winter camping. But I enjoy it.

BUT.. if you are sheet people, one tip is to sew the top sheet to your fitted bottom sheet at the bottom, so when the fitted sheet goes on, the top sheet is perfectly in place..
