My pod was built the year before the solar, but I would have paid for that option!! Either way, I don't know what you paid, so it would be hard to say anything more. I don't know if its frowned upon on tge forum to post prices. Hoepfully not, but I'll wait for someone to clarify (eh hem, Doug).
If so, we should have a thread for that so new people can compare prices and benefit from our purchases!

Wingnut, I did post the price. The price was on the build sheet. It is just for the wiring on the trailer side not the panels.

I thought it was OK to post prices.

I meant the price of the rpod itself. Seems that a lot of people post about getting good deals or go see so and so or who they bought from, but no prices.

Wingnut, If you look at my post on buying a 177, I posted prices. I paid $14,500 mine.

The new solar option really isn't an option, at least on my new Rpod 177. On the build sheet it is listed as 47-60011 Green Package (Led Lighting & Zamp Solar Port) (Mandatory Option)  1  $94.25.

Not really an option if it is mandatory. The panels themselves are an option.

well yes i know the connection itself isn't optional.  whether or not you buy the panel that goes in it is though.  just as the the c-channel that the rdome goes into is not an option, but whether you buy the dome that goes into it is.

What I am saying the option (Green Package with the Zamp Solar Port) is listed as $94.25 and is mandatory...

I think the c-channel is not list as a mandatory option...

Just saying. Big smile
