I'm pretty sure that if I were a Cards fan, I wouldn't feel too good
about a having to win two out of three, with Fenway Park in my future !

just soaking in my sorrows coopercdrkey!!!!!  horrible last night, but i do have to give some (just a little!!) credit to the sox..................now tonight is a different story; GO CARDS!!

Great thrill for the Fenway Faithful!  (What a difference a year makes!)

Great series.

As a sports-oriented aside-  Yesterday, Oct. 30, was somewhat unique in that all four of Boston's
professional teams were in active seasons!

I was hoping the Orioles would pull it off this year, since that would have given Baltimore 3 championships in the same year.  NFL and MISL were the other two.

Our Vikings have sole posession of 2nd place in the NFC North Division (the 3 other teams are tied for 1st). I think the Vikes should sue the NFL for making a football game 1 minute too long. If not for that arbitrary and capricious ruling, the Vikings would have a respectable 4-4 record, instead of an abysmal 1-7.
