I want to get the lifts put on my pod but is it best to buy them before and take them to the dealer to have them installed or just got to the dealer and let them get them and install them?

If you want to compare costs, ordered direct from FR the riser kit is $150.00 plus shipping. I don't know if the total cost would be less expensive if you have the dealer order the kit, but ask and you will find out.

Welcome. In general if a dealer orders a part for you, they'll tack on an extra charge since they spent their time to do it.

So if I want to order it just go to the FR site and order them. Then I can have my dealer install them for a lower price correct?

You can tell the dealer you want to try to save a few bucks and ask him to price it both ways. Generally though, it's kind of bad form to bring in parts that the dealer sells and ask him to put them on for cheap. IMO, it's worth a few dollars more for the goodwill involved in letting the dealer do it all. You might check a place that sells wheels, bearing, and axles though.

Sometimes a dealer gets a break from the manufacturer through combined shipping. By the time you pay the single item shipping cost, it might be better to order through the dealer. I thought the price FR charged me for shipping was outlandish.

We ordered the risors through our dealer, they called and told us what day to drop our pod and about 2 hours laterit was done, cost us a little over $200.00. Well worthit for the extra clearance and peace of mind.
