Topic: which r-pod should I buy? Posted: 10 Sep 2013 at 4:43pm |
Also, is kymooses' pod the one with "MoosePod" on it - and "This here, Clark, is an RV"? That totally cracked me up! A quote from one of my FAVORITE movies!

Whatever you buy and wherever you buy, be sure to add the shipping charge, if any.

Yes we Mooses are on the loose and we absolutely love that movie. Gotta say though we stole the idea from another RVer earlier this Summer. Was too funny not to copy for ourselves.
And yes this crown package seems to cover most everything we saw. I think also the Diamond Plating from the HRE might also be a part of that package. Maybe not though, the Pods we saw were on their way to Hood River as their prototypes of sorts. Is more than possible it's just only an option for the HRE's.
Some other Podders have had it installed though.

Does anyone know if the Jensen stereo replaces the one over the bed or is it mounted near the entry door?

Hi, Sleepless! I'm fortunate enough to have a brother who lives in Tipp City, Ohio. He tows his own LARGE RV to take his 4 LARGE dogs everywhere with him. He has agreed to meet me half way across the country, pulling my new baby, and I'll pick it up from him in Nebraska. He drives a Yukon; I'm not sure he'll even know he's pulling the pod! So I won't need to add delivery charges - except the eternal gratitude to my awesome sibling!

That should work out great!! When we owned our Yukon we were towing a 6500# Wilderness so I know what you mean about towing a pod with one. Enjoy!!!

Another newbie question? And a bit of a dumb blonde question! (yes, I'm blonde.) If I have electric power hookup at a camp site, will I be able to run my 1800 watt blow dryer?! My husband just shakes his head at me, but if I can't dry my hair, I'm NOT a happy camper - pun intended! I could probably find a lower watt dryer, but I love my 1800 watt. With I blow the breakers - even if I'm careful not to have anything else running? If I can't do the 1800 watt, what wattage could I run and not slag something? Lol! Also, I'm thinking of getting the dual Yamaha generators. Would I be able to run this dryer with them?

That was really a silly and vain prior post! But I don't understand why my power limitations are...
