Currently in the running is the Camplite 21RBS, Evergreen Element 26SRK, FR Aviator Electra.

The Camplite is most likely the winner. The Aviators seem to be impossible to find, the Element is now an orphan, though we did go look at three yesterday.

We started with about 8 that we were interested in, a couple have been discontinued/orphaned, some we were not happy with the build quality/cost ratio. Some the dealer network is very poor.

But those are some that are all composites and or aluminium. The current hold up on ordering is our love for the pod.. and it's community.

Edit: and a part of the hold up is my belief that Airstream will see the light and put a composite floor in.. but I doubt it will happen in my lifetime.

The Evergreen Ever-lite has no wood except the cabinets. Its made out of a composite you can put a hole in the roof and cut a hole in the floor and the water will run out with no water damage. It doesn't mold or rot. I almost bought one except I thought it was a little large. It was the Eve-lite 25RB.    David

There is an all aluminum lite weight TT made.  I mean ALL aluminum! Saw one out at a dealer in Lancaster County last year.  It was kinda weird, definitely not for winter camping!

That might be tough to find, but I wish.

I was able to remove the counter top and have a new sink and faucet on order. The new counter  and table top will be made using Baltic birch plywood. Forest River would have saved those some money and work wanting better construction as far as the counter tops by using plywood. Next trailer we buy will have no particle board. I guess as far as I know that leaves Forest River out unless they change and use plywood instead of particle board. Have been considering Evergreen or Cruiser RV as a choice they use no particle board anywhere in there trailers, I have been told. Hopefully all will turn out better with a stronger counter and table that will not be damaged by water and we will have a larger sink. And who ever may have our trailer in the future when we decide to sell it will be happier.   David

Aye, I already had my stove and sink both out, just couldn't reach one in the far right corner.  Just couldn't reach it no matter how I twisted, turned, or how many extensions I used.

Still got it off though in the end!  Big smile

marwayne what size sink did you install. I was at Lowes today and I seen one my wife and I liked but it may be to large. I will need to measure the clearance under the cabinet.   David
