Welcome waynemaw.
francoisfrogpod - I agree, I do not miss setting it up to dry - just to have it rain on it again an hour before I was going to take it down.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. We are very excited, out 176t is being delivered on May 16th. Only 1 week before our first trip is scheduled. We are trying to figure out what we need to have ready, buy and make sure everything gets packed. Fortunately we are trying a campground for the first trip that is only 15 minutes from home. We need to get my 4 and 6 year old acclimated. So far the upgrades I hear that I must do, are the queen size topper for the bed. I guess that is another part of going local. We can test everything out and figures out what needs tweaks.
Thanks all, looking forward to our first adventure.

Welcome.
I would recommend going to wally world and getting better stakes for the dome if you are going to use it. The big honkin' giant nail things. And take a good hammer to put them in/pull them out.
Pictures.. we love pictures. very few of us can camp every weekend, so on weekends when we can't.. we camp vicariously through others.... lol.

WOW we are getting our 176T on the 16th too. In N.C. We are from Salem VA so will have to drive a couple hours to get it. Really excited!! Haven't seen too many 176T owners on the site so please post your experiences and I will as well. We plan to take it from the dealer to a campground.. Have all our gear packed. If anyone has any advice on things I will need with the pod vs what I had with my pop up would appreciate it. Jody

How do the Cockers do camping? We have 2, Maggie and Molly and are considering taking them and the kids with us in the 176T. Our main worry is they will try to take off. How do you keep your local?
