It must have broken the straps that hold up the tank too. That IS something to keep in mind. Thanks for posting this.

I wondered about my Pod's tank after filling it full and noticed that it bulged downward quite a bit toward the ground. If the tank is held only in place by angle clamps fore and aft and pulled out because of overfilling...I wonder what would happen if you were traveling with a full tank and hit a really large bump. The g-forces should be enough to pull the tank 'tabs' out from the clamps and drop it on the road way. I am going to go out to my Pod and see if there is any way to check on the tightness of the clamps. "Loose clamps-potential fallen tank!"

On my Pod the fresh water tank is filled from a filler that I cant screw a hose on to. I was told by the dealer to put the end of the hose right into the filler and run the water until it started to come out. Are some pods equipped differently?

Keith-N-Dar...my Pod's tank fill neck is the same. I bought a tank filling nozzle from Wal-Mart. It has a standard hose valve connected to a 9 inch clear poly tube. You insert the poly tube into the open fitting and give the valve a quarter-turn. If the tank fills completely water rushes out from around the poly tube. I believe this design is so that you can't over-pressurize the water tank.
