Axle Risers

I have a quick question. I was wondering if anyone knows if forest river will ship to Canada? I have been trying to get my local dealer here in New Brunswick Canada to order me a set of axle risers. They had one set but it was for the wrong axel. I took them back and asked them to get the correct ones. I waited two weeks and did not here from them so I called and the parts guy had forgotten about it. He said he would call me back and he did the next day to say that he had a call into the factory but that was a week ago and still no call. I think if I can order them from the factory I will because I am not convinced that the dealer wants my business.

Hi and welcome from Alberta! We too are much happier with our risers installed.

Just bought a slightly used (2 nights lodging) 2011 Pod 177. Already I'm wondering about axle risers. Does the cost run about $100? have you noticed any effect on fuel economy?

Are electric brakes worth the cost? We hope to do some travelling in a couple years into the Rockies? What are the reviews on brands and types?

I never noticed a change in mpg before vs. after.  We towed for over a year w/o them and a year since.  As Alex&Marie said, they are a necessity anyway so don't sweat a possible 1/4 mpg hit.
