no just canopy to make the air in the box flow more smooth over the top of the trailer

im of buying a canopy for the truck to help whats everybody else think of this idea?

They do pull easy, but reference to earlier posts I think the problem is the rounded front, there is a lot of drag, and probably a real vacuum between the front of the pod and tow vehicle, anyhoo its still cool looking and fun and a great camper. have fun

If I have not already said "welcome"....Welcome to the group! Have fun buying goodies. Most folks seem to get 11-12mpg regardless of what they pull with. I would love to follow you to Alaska - it's on my bucket list.

We pull our 2011 177 with a 2010 F150 which is before echoboost. It gets 15 mpg on the flat at 55, but mpg drops quickly at 70 or in the mountains. We think it is worth it when camping. We love ours and can't wait for spring! Enjoy!!

thats the fun part of the newness, donna and I got ours late and used it twice before winterization, but its still fun to go down and check things out, making plans for spring. good luck and have fun
