My dream is coming true!  I'm the proud new owner of an R-pod 171; will be picking it up on Saturday!  I have tent-camped for many years and it's not the set-up or sleeping on the ground that got to me, it's the "up and down" LOL  It will be great to just "pull in and hook up" !!!  My unit is just right for one person...and very cozy for two...right now it's just me and the dog so it's perfect.  I am so excited, I can't wait to hit the road!

Welcome P pod, Donna and I are 62 and almost 60, we got our 2011 RP-172 in November, only got to use it twice before winterizing, We are so excited about the upcoming spring and summer, we are like a couple of goofy teenagers. Our kids are grown and we are planning, dreaming, and making plans for short trips, then maybe longer, you are right its perfect for one, for sure 2 and you could do 4 if you really like each other. Welcome.  We fit 4 in ours, but we planned for the future and some day we'll have the luxury of having just 2 of us in there.  Cool

Welcome!!! Great to have you join us. We also got tired of the up and down, so our 171 is a delight!
Any question, just ask! We'll be glad to help on this forum.

Congratulations.  We are anticipating purchasing a 171 in the spring and returning to camping after almost 20 years.  I would recommend that you read all of the posts on maintenance as well as any others that look of interest.  Have picked up a lot of tips from these forums.  Enjoy.
