Topic: ¡Podtástic! Website Posted: 25 Nov 2011 at 12:33pm |
I've been meaning to work on this over the summer, but it got away from me. One day in my business writing class I was talking about blogs and how you need to keep up with them to keep them current. I then talked about the ¡Podtástic! blog and how it violated that rule and perhaps I should create a website.
Well, after gorging myself on turkey and wine yesterday, I really ought to have been working on my dissertation proposal that is due next week. However, I ended up throwing out the blog and put up a website instead. I've got over 300 photos that we took over the summer and got them uploaded along with a little text. The site will probably take shape over the winter as I find some time to do it.

I don't blame you for getting behind on the blog, I've taken care of web sites for several groups and they become a chore after a while. The new site looks good.

Great web site and pictures, Donna and I are just starting out, we have 2 local trips under our belt as we got a late start, we bought ours in mid October, (got a better deal) we are looking forward to spring time. New places, new adventures, I am not sure we can get our cat Hunter to go along.

I may be spending a week in Columbia next summer doing data collection. I'll have to see if that works out.

We thought that Lucy would hate camping. She is the more antisocial of the two. However, Desi hates the ride and has to sit on Louis's lap the entire time. Lucy will stay in her carrier and while she may poke her head out from time-to-time, she really doesn't fuss too much about the drive.
Once we're there, Desi could stay outside for hours on his leash. Lucy, however, will go out for a for a little while, but once she's done with it, she'll want to go back inside.
You should try taking Hunter a few times and see how he takes it. You never know.
Tim
