Well we finally got our '12 172 HRE and we couldn't be happier.  We have had many trailers, our last one was a 27' airstream which we had for 10 years.  Janet and I finally came to the realization, that we are happier in smaller units, and we also had a couple of them.  We purchased our unit totally on the net from a dealer in Oregon, we live in cental B.C.  We had a dealer up here that had the identical unit built 4 after the one we bought, so physically viewing it,  cofirmed our desired to become a "Podder".  The dealer in Oregon will store the unit 'till spring, so the wait is on.

Congrats on the purchase.  I can remember the anticipation we had when we bought ours in January and had to wait until April to take ours out.  We spent that time planning and buying stuff for ours.

Spring will be here before you know it.

Welcome to the group and congratulations!  The wait will seem long but, I know you'll enjoy once the time comes.

Welcome.  Your trip to pick it up will be a great first camping trip.

You'll be like kids all winter just anticipating picking it up and going on your first trip.  Congratulations!  And welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'll be like kid in a candy store, that's for sure!
When we got rid of the Airstream, we pretty much got rid of all the "stuff" we had inside.  Soooo, now I have to shop (yes, SHOP - yippee!) for new dishes, towels, sheets, etc, etc.  It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it!! Wink  Looking foward to joining up with other "Podders" next year.  We're in BC so if anybody knows of any West Coast get-togethers, let us know.
Cheers,
Janet

I will be ordering a new 171 in the spring.  We live in Oregon.  Which dealer did you get it from?  Were they willing to deal?

We are just as ready to camp, even though we camped in ours all season this year.  I would go tomorrow if conditions were right and I didn't have to work (that 4 letter word).
