Wow! I'm so impressed--you've done a lot of the things that I would like to do only if I was able as you are.

Marwayne,
In regard to attaching shelves and cabinets to the R-Pod walls, what did you use? Wall anchors? Mollybolts? I attached a folding clothes rod, and had the hardest time with the hollow wall. I made a mess to tell you the truth, but was able to "fix" it using some wall anchors that would bear more weight. I tried to get close to a 2x4 when I did it, but there wasn't one there. (Not to mention, that I'm no carpenter!)
I guess what I'm asking is how did you attach cabinet & shelf mods to hollow walls so they could bear some weight?
What you have done to your R-Pod is outstanding!
Diane

Is that a drain so water on the boat can escape? Double-check the welds on the rear hitch, there have been reports of bad welds cracking there.
Hodge, I used Molly bolts when I added shelves to mine. I put them in every 8 inches or so and they felt very secure. |

I have not yet used an anchor or mollybolt in my pod. The inside walls have a 1/8" plywood skin. So drill your holes in the wood bracket countersink them, hold the bracket in place mark the holes, then use a 1/16" bit drill through the skin, use drywall screws coarse thread ( grabers) and screw on the bracket . Dont use a drill or screwgun, you dont want to overturn the screw,if you overturn it it wont hold and you would have to use an anchore or a mollybolt. |

No Doug those are not drains, they are vents, there are 4 of them. I have propane and gas in there, it is for air flow.

All of your MOD's are first class. Where did you find the port hole windows that you put in? I have wanted to put one in the door like you did but Mama has always been against it until she saw yours. Goose
