Plus the LPG heater is rather loud, electric heaters are much quieter.  I camped last weekend when it got down in the 40's both nights, I used the heater the first night and kept getting jarred awake.  The second night I left it off.

That little box will keep our Pod at +70F with outdoor temps a blustery 37F, on medium. It is about half the size of a standard toaster.

If boondocking.. then gas it up..lol

But you DO pay extra for a site with 120v, so might as well use it.

I also recommend purchasing a small portable heater rather than installing an A/C heater strip.  Because the A/C is ceiling mounted, the fan has to run to drive the warm air down to lower levels. My A/C fan even at lowest speed is loud enough to keep me awake and to cover the sound of the TV/radio.  With a portable heater...no hassle with wiring...just plug in and get warm.

I have not.  There was a thread similar to this a while back and it seemed most of us use small portable electric heaters.....cheaper and less noise.  Even the smallest ones are more than adequate.

I was reading  the manual on the a/c and found out there is an optional heat strip available . Has anyone installed one of these ? Any feedback ?
