Here is my poor camper.  Still not repaired.  The insurance company has not looked at it yet either. :-(

Yes, apologies for our deer.  And I am up for a Wisconsin/Minnesota gathering too.

Where were you camping in Wisconsin?

Welcome to the group!  Smile

However, sorry to hear about your encounter with the deer. Cry  If it's not too badly damaged, I think I'd be tempted to do the "temporary patch" mentioned, to still get out on 07-04.  My experience with dealers is they move sloooowly.  Sales first, cash service/repairs second, insurance work - when they get around to it.   Good luck!

You need to use the "Post Reply" button to go into the full-featured posting mode (its above and left of the Quick Reply).  Once you are there, look for the little picture of the tree, 3 buttons to the left of the little smiley and just above the "I" for Italics.

On the left side of that screen you can upload your picture, then you can click on the file (again on the left) and it will appear on the right side - both the file name at the very top plus a preview near the bottom right.  Click OK and then you'll come back to the Post Reply page.

I think that's a great idea for a MN/WI rally.  Hopefully the r-pod will be totally repaired by then.  I haven't gotten the written estimate yet but was informed it will be over $2,000 and was told it is unknown if the camper will be ready in time for the 4th of July weekend.  I sure hope so as we have a big trip planned to go to Mount Rushmore with the kids.  Would be disappointing if we can't go and I think I would be the most bummed.  I have a pic from my mac if someone can tell me how to post it I would be happy to share it.

As a resident of Wisconsin, i want to apologize for our inhospitable deer. Hope the repairs go well. We should try to get a MN/WI rally going.

So glad you are okay.  When you have that sick feeling in the bottom of your stomach remember this mess will soon be behind you and you will have plenty of time to camp in future.
Best of luck.

WELCOME to the forum!  That is a real bummer about the r-Pod!  I think we would all love to see some pictures if you don't mind.
