Congrats Keith-N-Dar!
You can have fun getting it outfitted and modified the way you want in the meantime. Have a camp-out in the driveway!

I'm STILL camping in the driveway! It will be Memorial Day before I can go camping for real. But I am driveway camping (and in the R-POD a lot ) -- I'm outfitted, ready to go, and all systems are checked out and working. I will tell you I may not have been camping for real, but I am VERY familiar with how everything in the POD works. A lot of that is due to these forums, of course.
So Keith-N-Dar, just follow Outbound's advice.

By this time tomorrow it will be in the driveway! I made an R-Pod spot Tuesday evening, and we are all ready.

Question: What do others do with the bag that hangs in the bathroom? I think I am going to re-locate it to the garage. Wondering what you folks have done with yours.

The pod is packed and tomorrow after work we are loading the dogs into the truck and heading out for our first weekend trip. We are going to a state park we used lots when we camped in a VW camper when the kids were little. It will be fun, and give us a chance to learn how to pod camp. I bet I have questions on Sunday when we get back.

First weekend out was great. Lots of ideas of things to do. The only thing that did not work well was the TV. It played a DVD, but no signal from the antenna for TV or stereo. Something to look into.

Glad to hear your first trip went well. Welcome!
We old tent campers used that great TV in the sky and the crackle of the campfire, along with stimulating conversation for entertainment.... What are we going to do now that we have tv (or two) in the pod?
