Topic: New 177, here we go ! Posted: 27 Apr 2011 at 11:43pm |
I hope you will love your 177 as much as I love mine. I camped in a tent for years, then a small pop-up, then a larger pop-up, then a 5th wheel. The 5th wheel just didn't feel like camping, so I downsized to the RPod which still has all the conveniences of a bigger travel trailer. I think it's perfect. It should be great for you, too. And it surely sounds like you have a beautiful place to camp. Welcome! And congratulations on your new camper.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great place. (We need pics) Will you have power to the Pod or just battery? Happy Podding

Welcome to the forum and to podding. Pictures are always good.
We love our pod and are looking forward to getting out in it next weekend for our second adventure.
Good luck with the teardown and rebuilding!

wow, I think I would've lied about owning a pod, just to join this forum! You guys are really nice! Love the names; Gastropod (It does kind of look like a snail. Love it!), Hodge-PODge, etc. We'll be working on that. Don't want to rush it though.
A place on the water would be super techntrek, but that's out of the picture for us up in Vt. We do have a great mountain stream very near that is very popular for swimming.
I'll get some pics posted eventually.
Pick her up tomorrow! Even looks like the weather will be nice.
