Man I should have waited for the new model, lesson= never believe a salesman.
Just a few questions: Is that the tent material, or just something on top? and did yours come with extra pillows in the back? what I mean is do your back support pillows go all the way around? mine are just on the sides of the camper. I would really like to see more pics of the inside, I think you got a much better pod than I did.
Nice story too...

We knew something different was about to happen. We had been just lounging around on the bed as always when the lady came in and said, “Bears, would you like to go camping?” We had no idea what camping was but being adventurous bears, we said, “Let’s go!” Outside we went. There, attached to our trusty truck, was a strange vehicle….the likes of which we had never seen. We read the signs, “RPod 176T by Forest River aka Just Podin’ Along”. The lady opened a funny little door and all was revealed. It had all the comforts of home. The lady put us on a bunk bed and told us to take a nap and when we woke up we would be far from home in a new place.
We jostled about for a while and then fell into a blissful sleep dreaming of honey. The next thing we knew, the funny little door opened and there was the lady. She brought us outside and we were deep in the woods. It was just like magic---one moment home on the bed and the next in this beautiful place. The lady said it was Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring, Florida. “Now this is going to be an adventure”, we exclaimed and the lady smiled. Over the next two days, it rained some but we didn’t mind. The Pod was very dry. The lady cooked our meals on a funny little stove. She seemed upset when the biscuits turned out hard…she said something about needing to figure out the new convection oven. We took our showers in a funny little box that really worked quite well and the lady said she liked the new shower head. The man liked checking the amps on something called a surge protector that he said he was glad he bought because it protected the Pod during the lightning. We even made a friend while camping. A squirrel (named Earl) kept coming over to the Pod and talking to us. He was asking if we had any food but the lady said not to feed the “wildlife”. He didn’t seem very wild to us. We sure hope he found something to eat. But come to think of it, his belly was nearly as round as ours, so he must be doing fine. One morning, we went on a long hike and saw a hawk, armadillos and all sorts of beautiful birds. The lady said she had never seen a 1000 year old oak tree in Florida before and the park reminded her of what a lot of Florida used to look like when she was a kid in the 1950’s. We had no idea what she was talking about but we liked just being in the woods. The man said the next time we should bring the recumbent bikes so we could ride the eight mile bike loop in the park. We thought it was a good idea too. We can ride in the baskets because our legs are too short to reach the pedals! Then before we knew it, it was time to go. We were sad because we really liked the Pod. Everything worked so well except the TV…we couldn’t get any channels and missed Animal Planet. The man and the lady said we had to stop at the dump station before we left. We were worried because we saw on the Animal Planet that wild bears sometimes come to garbage dumps. When we got there, we didn’t see any garbage or wild bears. Instead, the man and the lady got out and attached this funny tube and something came out of the Pod. It was weird to us but the lady and the man seemed to be pleased since it was so easy. Going home we rode in the truck and fell asleep dreaming of honey but also of our next camping trip. We could get to like this camping thing! We sure hope we go again soon.
