Topic: Removal of LED Running light??? Posted: 12 May 2020 at 3:18pm |
Hi All, have been searching the site for how to remove a back running light in order to install a back up camera. Just need access to the wires there. Does the light screw on/off, pry off, what? Don't want to do any damage!
TIA!!

If you are talking about the ones at the top, in the spoiler, they pop out.

I had mine installed when I purchased it. I didn't actually see how he did it. The camera is installed about 2 inches above the center light. I don't know if he might have put a small hole under the camera area, and fished the wires out, or if he removed the light, sorry.

Wondering about the same. I have a 195 and going to be removing the center light and adding a Furrion Vision system tomorrow

Why not use the back up light wiring that is in the harness? Leave your lights alone.

The main harness of the Pod. On the front left of the Pod look and see if you have yellow wires terminated. Those wires are connected to the seven way and are the back up light wires. I used them when I added back up lights to my Pod. I would use them to power a back up camera. Take an voltmeter and verify.

Ah yeah I was trying to avoid running new wires. There's 12V running to the backup LED's and there's 5 across, so if I can tap into the middle one, that should be a good location. Just need to seal it up well afterwards.
