Have new dump hose storageLOL

The hubby ordered one that looked like the one that was already on the Pod (but too short), only this one a little longer. Put some holes on the underside for drainage and mounted it in the same place (under the tongue hitch on the Pod). Sticks out a little more, but is black and not noticeable. Hose fits in ,minus the connection that screws into the ground sewer. THAT I can live with.

While he was at it this week, he had our 30 amp outlet moved to the other side of the house where the Pod is parked. We had one for doing some basic things for our motorhomes, but in a bigger parking space (and I have since planted crepe myrtles in a row where the motorhomes sat). Now when the weather is HOT I can turn the ac on and bring the humidity down a bit and work inside.  OR turn it into my closet to turn to when the football season startsStar

Right now there are only 2 things I would like to add.  Somehow, some bookshelves, but going into the Pod walls don't interest me.
And an addition of an awning. Books I can find a place for, always. The awning will have me set up pretty much.

Now for time to take the Escape Pod out.

Up to this point I still use that thing forest river put on the front but I cuss at it every time I empty trying to get it back in.  The next mod planned is a PVC pipe and some end caps that you can close when wet.

I'm getting ready to buy a 6-foot PVC pipe and drill the holes on the bottom of it for drainage (as others have done).  Should hold two lengths of hose.

My rhino sewer hose was not only too long for the stock holder that came with the pod, but the fancy connectors do not fit either.

The link above has pictures and instructions from two different installs.  It's been a year and I'm still please with it.  Actually I think this winter I may add another for electrical cords. Put the power cord in one side and extra extension cords and patio lights on the other side.  That's over 7 ft of storage that will free up under the back storage.

Also I installed the fence post before I had axle risers, no problem.

Still a work in progress, lots of pictures.

Mountain Mist, I bought the 64 inch hose carrier from Camping World and had it mounted underneath the R-pod. It fits perfectly frame to frame across. I love it. It is so much easier to dump. I also spray painted it black so it would not be so noticeable. Doesn't cost much at all.

Our dump hose is just a tad too long for the storage under the trailer hitch. Our coaches had proper hoses and storage.

Our r-pod has proper hoses and came with adequate storage.  When I picked-up our r-pod, I bought a sewer hose, adapter and elbow that fit in the stock holder, all for under $30.

But, if you have need of a setup that can't be accommodated by the stock sewer holder, you may want to mod something.  I know that Butterfly_Lee installed a longer/larger sewer hose holder, you may want to contact her.

A plastic tub with a lid.  Some people have replaced the factory hose holder with a section of plastic pipe.  That white stuffLOL!  I can't think of the name for it.Ouch

I know this has been covered, just can not find where.

Have not used the bathroom , will do so this time.

Give me suggestions of ways to STORE that hose. Right now it is clean and in a garbage bag.
This is such an area of contamination that I just need some suggestions.

Thanks
