Topic: Almost 100,000 posts! Posted: 20 Oct 2017 at 9:27am |
Really glad to hear that the Forum continues to do so well. We lurk on the FB group but as previously mentioned it's pretty linear. Great for seening interior decorating, campsites and cinnamon buns....but if you want to know the right way to fix something....here is the spot to be!

Do you mean in your signature? You need to have the pic hosted somewhere else since new pic uploads aren't allowed. Then you need to know the URL to access that pic - the various photo hosting sites all make it easy to get it. Then you need to modify your signature in your profile using BBCode to link to the picture.
For instance this is the link in my signature which shows my sig pic (note that the curly brackets should be square brackets but I had to change them so this doesn't insert the actual picture here):

I actually had a pic taken especially to satisfy your request - summer a year ago. At this point it would be easier to get a new one than to track that one down. Keep reminding me - it is hard to move out of the stone age.

I'm guilty of the FB side for the last 1-1/2 to 2 years. Trying to go on a FB diet now as I am tired of the intrusiveness and negativity it also brings. Not the Rpod group but the rest of it.

I agree with the anti-FB members. I'm not sure it matters anymore since everyone shares data with each other and any computer related company, like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Equifax, and a million others know more about us than our mommas ever did. But Facebook really seems to exist to destroy personal privacy.
This forum has it's minor imperfections, sure, but it's a great place for the purpose.
