Even with the radio at full dim I feel it is too bright. LightDims black out edition led covers are a self adhesive easy on easy off quick fix. I have them everywhere except the CO2/propane detector. I am considering a switch to remove power but the clock would have to be reset if used.

OK.. new camper has a Jensen unit. On ours, it doesn't have the +/- buttons. Ours is the JWM6A model. On it, you push the "audio menu" button to cycle through choices, one of which is "backlight".. settings are 0 to 4. we are on 1.

We keep ours set on level 1 in our 179. As Mike said, it is a good nightlight. We do use a tension shower rod (old, spring-loaded type, not the newer twist-lock type) to hang a set of curtains between the bed and cabin. That blocks a lot of the excess light also.

Real easy... Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) The liquid crystal display (LCD) panel (1) displays the frequency, time and activated functions. To adjust the brightness of the LCD, press the BRIGHT +/- buttons (2) to adjust the LCD brightness from “LEVEL OFF” to “LEVEL 9” (brightest). I googled it lying in bed the first night we got the pod. Here is a link to the instructions. Page 4. http://www.jensenrvdirect.com/downloads/dl/file/id/632/awm968_owners_manual.pdf Sleep Well |
