Tire pressure monitoring valve stem caps are cheep. Available in different pressures levels. Usually sell for under $10 fore four caps. A quick check. Turn red if tire pressure is under the caps pressure rating.

Agree with all you above posters. One time I had a tire that I could visually see via the rear view mirror was a bit low. I stopped and checked both tires even though they were warm and noted a 4 psi difference between the two tires. Took out my bicycle tire pump and pumped it up to match the other and went on my way. When I got to the campground I took a closer look at the tire because I knew it was good when I left in the morning, you guessed it, I picked up a 2" long roofing nail in the tread, easy fix at the filling station. Got 20,000 plus miles on them and then replaced as they were 6 years old last spring.

Me too, not sure what the gain is from TPS, I also monitor tire pressure and bearing heat, make sure everything is torqued, maintenance done, tires are in good shape, balanced and went with D rated tires. Important to not exceed speed rating. TPS is just going to tell me I lost or am losing tire pressure, in case of a blowout I think I would probably already know that.

I agree with both of the above.

I can see the pod tires from my side-view mirrors, and check them at each stop (visually). I will check the air pressure periodically as well.

I check my tires regularly and sensors won't prevent a blowout so I don't use them.

Does anyone have a recommendation for tire pressure sensors? First single axle camper and I want to make sure there aren't any issues.
