I purchased as used 178, first thing I did was buy a 3" binder and put info on RPods systems and other info in it, when I'm out and about I have a ready source I can read.  Good to have and helps you fix broke and before it's broke stuff - Good Luck:)

I'm also retired and just got my r-pod first time owning a trailer, I was a tent camper needless to say I only camped in warm weather and now the world opened up to me.  The only advice I can give is make a list before you leave home and a list when you break up camp, this really helped me.
Welcome to the world of rpoders, and enjoy your adventures.
Les

We were quite surprised to spot a used one for sale yesterday in Billings, at a camper place off the interstate on the road up to the Metra.    It looked like a 177.
We camp around Red Lodge a couple times a summer/fall.  You'll have fun with yours, no doubt, and maybe our trails will cross.   Congrats!

Newbies Carl and Therall from Billings MT just purchased a 2010 M-173.  Yes, we actually found a used R-Pod! In Billings even!  Getting set up for our first adventure next weekend.  TV is a 2007 Subaru Tribeca SUV.  Retired, never owned a trailer before.  Any first-timer hints would be appreciated!
