Stick with one rated for 4000/400 pounds or 6000/600 pounds for use with the pods.

Well after much reading and research I've realized that the Harbor Freight over exceeds the towing rig and camper needs way to much and would be in effective.  Back to the search for one that would fit our rig.

Thanks, I'm looking at the WDH from Harbor Freight.  I know, I know but it has been reviewed well and I don't think I'm needing something super crazy expensive lol.

If all you want is sway control, then ONE friction sway control is definitely enough.

If you want weight distribution, then there WD hitches that also have sway control.

Personally, I am thinking of getting one, because I plan to tow several thousand miles this coming Fall. i haven't needed one in the past couple years, but it probably couldn't hurt, plus the one I am looking at can be used up to 10,000 pounds If I decide to get a bigger trailer someday. Anderson 3324 -$449 on Amazon.

You might want to rethink the WDH.  When we moved up to our Suburban I tried towing w/o our WDH spring bars on a trip out to a campground.  I put them on for the trip home and never stopped using them.  The WDH acts as an additional suspension system and evens out the "porpoising" you can get on some highways.  My TV can pull 8000 pounds and handle 1000 on the hitch so it certainly didn't need the WDH, but with it the ride is much more comfortable.  Plus mine provided sway control.

Congrats on the new kid!

Sorry for the delay, we just welcomed a little into the family, soon a camper to be. No friend of mine was saying double sway control. WDH not needed we will never come close to that weight of needing it. I'm only thinking of 1 sway control as well but wanted to get thoughts on using 2 of them. I never even thought of that because if you approach that then you would go with a single sway control plus WDH. More thoughts on this would be appreciated, thanks all!

Double as in a sway bar plus a WDH that includes sway control?  Or two sway bars?  Sway control is good, but double isn't necessary with the pods.
