I fixed it for you. You need to set the picture as your avatar after uploading it.

[QUOTE=techntrek] As for avatars, they need to be 64 x 64 pixels.
Yes but what I mean is that I have chosen one that is the right size (a little smaller, even) and it uploads, but it doesn't show when I make posts, like yours with the launching space shuttle.
...
Thanks for fixing it for me!

Wow. Stay away from Chalet, duly noted.

Thank you. By the way, can you help me? I uploaded a picture that I want to use for my avatar but it's not showing on my posts. Do you know how I can correct that? Thanks. Monty

Welcome, MontyD, and I can relate to your Chalet problems.
Compared to a Chalet, the Pod is a portable mansion. So enjoy!

I appreciate your comments, Kickstart. They're very encouraging.

Welcome, MontyD, and I can relate to your Chalet problems. I had a Chalet for the longest 5 RV years of my life (leaks, poor-stapled-cratewood interior framing, rusted screws, mildew, crumby quality fittings, etc.). Your problems sure sounded familiar. When I spent more time on upkeep than camping, it was time to get rid of it.
I've owned a pocketfull of trailers, camper vans, and pickup campers over the years. The Chalet OWNED the bottom of the quality list! So don't beat yourself up over what you had to deal with, as you've got yourself some company. Compared to a Chalet, the Pod is a portable mansion. So enjoy!

I think it was a combination of newbie inexperience that I didn't know proper routine RV maintenance and a period of severe personal straits that pulled my attention away from taking care of the vessel.
The repair folks showed me the results: One of the roof walls was so filled with water it took days for it to drain out. The skin was completely delaminated, the screws for everything were rusted away, the inside of the wall was so rotted out there was nothing for screws to hold onto anyway. There was mildew and they said, "We'd hate to let you sleep even 1 night in this."
From the sun the large front plastic cargo box and lid were cracked and warped and the bubble skylight windows were irrepairably clouded. The poor thing was a mess.
All's well that ends well ... I got my new R-Pod!
