awesome, merry christmas.  also keep in mind that the hotwater heater was likely drained (hopefully) and you want to fill it up after the valves are set (turning on hot water tap) until it flows smoothly before you turn the hotwater heater on.  where you at in florida?  hogone

He has the top and bottom valves open parallel to the pipe; and middle valve closed perpendicular to the pipe but no not water yet.

the pic is pretty good one, top and bottom valves parallel(open) and the middle(bypass closed).  is the anode rod in the hotwater heater which would be located from the outside access door?  hogone
