The touch test says you should be able to keep your hand on it, so I'd expect that 120 F figure to be the max.

I think the range on mine is like 105º - 120º. I expect heavy braking could push that to 150º+. I'm looking for the 200º+ mark under normal driving conditions as a sign for the first spot of trouble.

You're welcome Sir, the process won't create a hyper link, but it will post the address so a user can copy cut and paste it themselves.

Dang, no Menards round here...the Ladder is on page 5 and the Laser Therm is on page 9!
hogone, to post a link on a windows machine:
Starting from viewing the exact page that you want the link to go to and then just go up to the address bar, point to it, and right click, it should highlight the address and open a dialog window so you can select copy with a left click.
go to the posting box here in the forum and place your cursor at the point you want to insert the link, right click and then select paste with a left click!
Just remember: Right Left Right Left or RLRL
