">Try pressing the little tab IN and then attempt to slide it."
Success! You have to push on the tab before it will slide! Wow...I almost broke it trying everything else. It pushes on the tab and then it slides...LOL! I like it...Fridge Storage Mode!!! Thanks guys...

I leave mine in travel mode- operating the latch doesn't bother me....I know if I used camp mode someday I would drive off forgetting to return it to travel mode...guess what happens on a hard left turn with no latch

Thanks! I hadn't noticed that difference before. Turns out ours has always been in travel mode. What is it they say? .. When in doubt, read the instructions? What a concept!

Will it beep with the light connected AND the fridge latched?
Camp mode? Travel mode? I guess I've missed something. How do you put the fridge in travel vs camp mode?
As they say...a picture is worth a thousand words...
Without the latch in play (camp mode) the door works like a home Fridge, you don't have to push the latch button to open, just pull the door open like at home. Saves wear and tear on you latch and prevents accidental pulls on the door when the latch is engaged...easier to open.
