Happy Mothers Day!
Our first trip out this year. We're located in very NW Wisconsin and just spent the weekend at Copper Falls State Park. Somewhere, someplace on this forum last year someone said, "there's not a bad campsite at Copper Falls State Park". We would have to agree with that statement. 35 or so very nice campsites. Many have electric hookup and some with out but all sites are laid out very nicely with level gravel pads and shade and none of the sites are crowded. The water will not be on for maybe another week.
Friday was cold, damp, more like wet with an on/off drizzle but we went any way. Saturday was nice and Sunday had to be the warmest day we have had since early last fall. Sunday was almost as nice until we made it home in late afternoon. No leaves are out here yet and there was a small snowbank in the back of our campsite when we showed up Friday late afternoon, it was gone by the end of the day Saturday.
It's only our third time out since we bought our Pod last summer. Everything worked just fine, (including the heater, it had quite the workout Friday night) We didn't forget anything, didn't break anything and we had a great time. We are snowmobile/ATV safety instructors. Our DNR put on a little lunch and class for us at the park Saturday so we thought, good excuse for a camping trip.

It's nice to be appreciated.
