Welcome, we too went from tent camping to the r-pod with all the comforts of home. Did like the low cost of tent camping and the ease of traveling not having to tow a trailer but my wife would never go back to camping in a tent.

Try the KOA in Cortez.
when we camped there a few years ago it was ranked #2 in the nation for KOA's . We rode the Durango-Silverton railway last summer from Silverton. It just confirmed our belief that we *need* to live out there.... |

Welcome.. Try some driveway camping.. it helps to get things sorted out.. And the campground facilities are always close and clean..

We recently purchased a 2014 RP177. This is our first travel trailer with all the comforts. No more tent camping for me. I immediately started with the mods, and the list only gets bigger. No plans at this time for any long trips, there are countless possibilities within a 100 miles of home. We have only used the camper one night so far, so still a lot to learn.
