Topic: Lake Cottage for Sale, Bought a Pod! Posted: 24 Jan 2014 at 9:54pm |
Thanks for the welcomes! Looking forward to starting the Pod mods and heading out in the spring. An Oregon R Pod roundup sounds great, hopefully make it some day.

Welcome from Washington! My wife and I were just talking last night about what fun it would be to do a trip through BC and Alberta, but that probably won't work out for us this next summer. I suggest you keep a watch out for information from "Camper Bob" when he puts out details later this winter about this year's Pacific Northwest R-Pod Round-up event. Last year about 50 attendees met in Sea Side Oregon in August for a great gathering. It would be a long haul from Alberta, but you could add to our Canadian attendees - last year we had at least one couple from Canada. Enjoy your new R-Pod!

Just picked up our new 178 this afternoon. Eventually plan on using it on winter trips to our villa in SoCal but mainly in Banff & BC for now. Just have to figure out how to carry the bikes & the kayak. We have decided to sell our lake property & boat so we can travel again. Thanks to all here, this community was a big reason for our decision to buy a Pod. Tom&Judy (R&R-Pod)
