Another option is to take the battery home with you between trips to keep it charged.  Also prevents theft at the storage facility.

I was thinking about redundancy with a 12V setup. If one 12V fails, I'll still have usable 12V backup. If I do consider 6V. What are good AGM 6V batteries? There is also the issue of weight. I don't want to add too much on the hitch if it can be avoided with a dual setup.

If you are going dual battery from the get-go, and not using the "included" battery.. think about going 6v instead, dual 6v's giv as much as 40% more aH's...

I'm looking for recommendations on a good, reasonably priced 12V AGM battery with at least 100AH. This will be for a dual setup.
