Love the drive and the woods!
 Our gravel drive is only 150 feet from street to garage (a pre-1880 barn).   Originally Set up a spot directly at the end of the straight drive- requires us to hand turn the pod 180 degrees with a dolly on the uneven gravel.  The new spot will be off to one side in some undergrowth cleaned out and leveled, quite loamy.  So we're thinking pavers, but maybe we'll put in a gravel pad in there. Got the electric run to it from the garage, water is close by, about 20 feet. Should be a good home for the pod.

Amazon sells a 2-in-1 plastic toolbox with step top.  But I'm thinking a homemade plywood box that does the same will be sturdier and better built.

LOL.. that's our driveway. We live in the woods, 500 feet of gravel driveway winding through the trees, then a 24' "parking area" in front of the garage. I have the pod parked as far forward on the concrete pad of that. I keep it as far forward as possible to have access to the motorcycles in the garage on that side.

Last fall I cleared and dug out an area next to the concrete pad area for a gravel parking area for the trailers and truck, just have to get a truck load or two of gravel delivered and spread..

When that is done, I probably will put pavers under the tires.. but mostly so we can get them back to the same spot when we come home.. We already set up power and dump hookups.. But are now thinking about a 3rd TT.. lol. We may sell the 'stream to the next person that asks/offers (happens more often that you would think).

Tell us about your parking space, furpod.  We are moving the park spot to a place under a tree that has been "parkland" for many years.  I looked at the cement pavers, but am concerned because they are not reinforced.  Do your pavers have sand or gravel under to cushion for the weight of the trailer? Do I note a gravel path?

I ordered the Stromberg 2-Step model and installed them myself. Had to cut out a small corner of the front end so that it would fit into the place of the factory step but other than that   ....everything lined up and we really like having that extra step. I'm an old Paratrooper and have knees that sound like Rice Krispies - - short, soft steps are my speed these days.

We didn't put on risers, in our case it would have made the problem worse (old dog) So what we did, and have been very happy with it, was to make the single step much more user friendly. Friends with the risers don't seem to have any trouble. I think I would try using a "box" arrangement as mentioned, easier and cheaper.

My wife has issues with her hips so I modified the step assemble to raise it up so the drop from the floor to the step is 7 3/4 inches and about 7 inches to the ground. We don't have risers and to keep it easy for her to get in and out we decided not to use them.   Goose
    7 inches is the standard drop for steps.
