Seanl     ...if you don't mind me asking - - where do you get your magnesium replacement anodes ? I've been doing some searching and the vast majority of anodes for sale are of the aluminum variety. I found a couple magnesium ones but they don't look compatible with the Suburban hot water heater in my Pod.

You're correct     ...I had multiple window up on Amazon and grabbed the wrong Camco part #. As for the Aluminum versus Magnesium tip - - thanks a lot. I didn't pick up on that when I was reviewing the on-line replacement choices.

I think maybe the part number for the Camco rod is wrong I get a water tank rinser for that part number. I don't think it makes a lot of difference but I would get a magnesium rod not an aluminum one. Magnesium works better and is not as toxic as aluminum. Also Magnesium will not cause as much sediment to build up in the tank.

For those of you who have replaced the anode in their Suburban Hot Water Heater        ...did you get the OEM Suburban part (#232767) for around $15 or the Camco one (#11691) for around $9. I guess the big questions are        ...are they equivalent AND will using the Camco model void the warranty ?
