I noticed those on the outside of the sliding glass, about 3/4 or 1 inch long, they don't seem to do anything, I wonder if there a byproduct of producing the window that should have been removed ?

I have them, they fall out, I shove them back in. No idea if they are shoved into their original space from where they first fell or what.
Never seen any leaks or issues thus far.

I will need to look at my 2009 171 R-Pod when I pick it up at the Dealers on Thursday Night but I don't believe I have anything like that on my windows.

The black clip on the left goes into the outside window frame pictured on the right. They keep falling out. Any ideas what their purpose is?

Anyone know the purpose of the little black plastic clips in the outside window frame. Mine keep falling out. Not sure how important they are.
