Great question Bill. I have wondered the same thing. I had considered cleaning them and them lubricating with some silicon spray, but worried that might just attract dirt to them and not be effective.
I've been very careful about cleaning off any debris when closing up after staying for some time at a location but that hasn't really helped with the "folded under" problem.

I am wondering if anyone has a remedy / trick for having all the slide-out seals in the proper position when the slide-out is extended. My seals are usually half folded under ... especially on top. I.m thinking of taking a 3 step small ladder to inspect each time I push it out. - a real pain!
