Even the rain and cold was fun since we are from Az and only see rain rarely and cold only for a couple of weeks. |
Agreed!!! A bad day camping is better than a good day at work. Thanks for the pictures!

It was brief but caught me by surprise coming downhill around a turn, the rain every day in the afternoon was more of a inconvience.

Stayed at the north rim campground, dry camping for 3 days and had no pod issues. Our water pump, furnace, refrigerator and water heater all lasted 3 days on our dual battery set-up. The only problem was rain and cold every day. We moved onto Zion National Park and spent 2 days with more rain and ice but had hook-ups outside the east gate. We ended the week in Lake Powell where we finally had some warm weather although it rained again. All in all another great trip in our pod, no problems, everything works as it should, and towed well except for hills which is to be expected using a v6 to tow. We have about 15 trips and close to 10,000 miles now on pod and 110,000 on jeep and still going strong! If I ever retire it will be more. |
We did the North Rim a few years back. Did you know that less than 15% of visitors to the Grand Canyon see it from the north? It is spectacular and well worth the difficulty of getting there. We would love to see it again...camping there must have been incredible. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

Actually too well, we had water dripping from the windows each morning! The heat was set at 60 and I only heard it come on 3 times all night. We were trying to dry out the humidity.
