The only thing I heard is that the newer Yamaha's are quieter then the Honda's.  The Honda's are pretty quiet and were rated as #1 when I did my search.

Is there any difference between the Honda and Yamaha generators of the same size?

We have the 2000i and made very good use of it last summer while parked on our lot in Wis. Dells.  Good investment if you plan to boondock.

Thanks! We're trying to decide on a generator. Right now, we're leaning towards two Honda 2000 linked.

Models have been discussed before, but they can change at any time.  Basically RV manufacturers buy that stuff in bulk and if a cheaper model or manufacturer comes around, that's what gets installed until the lot is gone.  You can count on it needing about 1800 watts running and several times that during startup.

Our 171 will have the Convection Microwave. Does anyone know the Model/Name/Type? AMPS (or Watts?).
For those of you who have generators. What kind and where do you store it?
Thanks!
