Mine sticks, I have to use the heel of my hand to push it sideways while prying the lower lip out.  Or at least I did until the whole thing broke off in the cold a few months ago.

Mine sticks every time!  I usually have to use a key to pop it open.

Cold weather probably made it a tighter fit. I know metal expands and contracts but plastic I don't know about. Good luck with you new R-Pod.

Thanks, I had to use Pliers to get the stupid thing open.  I thought it was easy.

The power plug cover just lifts straight up, put a finger under the lip at 6 o'clock and flip it straight up.

Is there a trick to opening the cover to plug in the power.  I just picked up my 173T today and I am trying to plug it in.  However, I can not get the stupid cover open.

Please help!!!

Thanks,
jon
