Thanks for the well wishing. This is a really nice forum full of nice people that appear to have similar interests.
As noted previously, we ultimately decided on the Campfire which is a much smaller trailer that can be towed by a 4 cylinder vehicle. We've decided to do a winter run to Florida and pick it up in Lakeland on Feb 8th. From there, we're headed directly to Orlando to pay Mickey a visit for roughly 5 days. Should be a great maiden voyage and a nice diversion from all this @#^%& snow here in NE PA....

We got the white wood option and love how it lightens up the rpod- but then again we live in a rustic log house so we wanted something different from what we have at home.
I don't believe the white wood is an option offered any longer....too bad as white/ light is becomming more and more popular in smaller RVs.
That is a very good and fair price, rpodcamper- good luck with the sale.

IMHO it opens the camper up more as it makes it not as dark.

I think our main reason is we had a tow vehicle with a 5000lb towing capsity so we were only looking for something light.
I would love to see one in person with white cabinets.

I'm with you PA, we got a 'pod and not a 35 footer because of future gas prices. As David said, check in and let us know how you like your new camper.

I looked at this trailer and can attest to the fact that it's very nice. Anyone considering a 171 should check it out. We seriously considered it, but in the final analysis decided to go with something smaller that can be towed with a 4 cylinder car...
Guess I'm in the camp (pun intended) that thinks today's gas prices are cheap by comparison to what we may see in the future. If anyone's interested, we decided on this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CQhPoW9Hmo&NR=1

Use on it was light. Last summer my wife was involved in a car accident and tied up for about 8 weeks. Unit comes with all options but the axle risers. I used the r=dome 2 times and after that just used my easy ups.
