Hi from Virginia. I am a "Newbie" to Rpods, not so much to camping. I have been camping in everything large and small to "under the stars" for close to 60 years now. My last camper was a Aliner Ranger for six years, and it was great. However, I missed the advantages of a full "travel trailer". Not wanting the hassle of a really large camper again, I researched all the campers under 3,500lbs I could find. The Rpod seemed to fit the bill. I visited the dealer to see the 180 because of the dry bath. It was perfect! A week later I was picking up my new camper. My Escape pulled the Aliner great, and does a pretty good job pulling the RP-180. Interstate driving will require something about 1,000lbs heavier and with a larger engine. Until then, I am enjoying my new camper and back roads very much since I picked it up mid-May. I am retired, camp during the week, frequently dry camp in national parks. I am camping now at a Corps of Engineers park. If you are in the central Virginia area, I would love to hear from you. Again, Hi from Virginia!
