You will need a longer tube for the rhino hose, most go with the valttera 64".  The same company that makes the tube that come on the pod, also makes a longer tube, if you call them, tell them you have a pod, and what hose length you have, they can sell you one that fits perfect.

The chains are already on the pod frame. You don't need to worry about them.

I used a longer tube from a different company, I like the closure at the end (a latch) better than the screw-in type used on the original tube.  Pics and link here:

They can't sell a trailer without safety chains... they're already attached.  Or, are you looking to replace them before driving home?

As has been said, your RhinoFlex is too long for the stock holder.  I also suspect that the connectors are too wide to fit in the tube.  I don't know what your needs are, but I've been very happy with the Camco Heavy Duty Sewer Hose; it fits easily in the stock holder and - although its never shown any wear - I replace it every other year.

I believe the newer Pods all ship with the d&w SaniTube, all be it far too short. Th 60 plus inch tube from d&w will hold the 15 foot RhinoFlex and fittings, the threaded adapter, and a 45 degree clear elbow. It can be mounted transverse under the Pod frame. Nice quarter turn latches.

Check the new Camping World Master Catalog, page 165.  Safety cables are usually used when towing a vehicle behind a motor home.  We used them for years, until we reverted back to travel trailers.  Why would you want to use cables when the standard chains are so much easier to use?

Just curious, what side should the tube be mounted?  Is it mounted to the frame or the bottom panels?

Mount it transverse as the others have said.  I would locate as close as possible to the sewer hose connection(s), where it can be easily reached when needed.

I mounted mine transverse (across from left to right) just aft of the front stabilizers. Make sure the jacks are up when you pick the spot. The tube feet mount to the trailer frame with #12 or #14 stainless 1.5" sheet metal screws. Sorry I no longer have my 172 so I can't take any pictures.
