In the top right corner of the page is the "search" feature. Put solar in that feature and search--you will find quite a few posts from forum members who have added solar systems to their pods. These systems are very useful in keeping your batteries charged while boondocking (not being plugged in to an electric power supply). solar can be a huge benefit. Many of the newer pods have a prewired connection to the battery. some systems are made by Zamp. some by Renogy and several other manufacturers. Most of your powerr needs can be met by using anywhere from 100-150 watts of generating capability.
Read the various posts and do some on-line research. You will learn a lot and have enough knowledge to ask more specific question. there are a lot of people on this forum who have solar systems and are glad to answer questions.

Thank you...I was interested in how much solar power I would need to run the ref if boondoggle. I have been searching the web and as with anything it varies. I have a 2015 178rPod.

We debated getting solar but opted for a second battery instead - a lot less expensive. We've camped in the Adirondacks in NY several times and last fall we went for seven days without a recharge thanks to the second battery. Many of the sites we use are wooded and so that puts a limitation on solar. Also, I don't know the specs on the refrigerator but when it is running on propane, I don't think it takes much power at all. We are only into our third year of podding so we are still learning!

the refrigerator runs best if you use propane. the regular tank will last several weeks . we use a 100 watt Renogy suitcase panel set for our solar system. It keeps our two 6 volt golf cart batteries well charged when boon docking Vann
