Hello all. New member here and a new owner of an rPod. My wife and I bought our rPod 179 in early June of this year. This is our first hard-sided camper. Our previous was a Coleman pop-up of 1991 vintage.

So far we have taken it out 3 times to both primitive and fully developed campsites and we love it. We bought a Honda EU2000i generator to provide power and it works great for everything on the 179 except the air conditioner.

One question, where is the best place to carry the spare fuel container for the generator? A 2 gallon plastic gas container will fit on the tongue of the trailer but there's not enough room for a five gallon container up there.

What is your tow vehicle and where are you carrying your generator? I wouldn't recommend carrying gas in the enclosed are of the tow vehicle, but may be able to offer suggestion if I knew the answer to the two questions.

Glad you are aboard.

Our tow vehicle is a 3/4 ton Suburban and we carry the generator inside the truck.
